Restaurant 1906

Restaurant 1906 is the peak of Bled’s culinary scene — a boutique fine-dining restaurant where local Gorenjska ingredients meet modern technique. The chef composes seasonal tasting menus that tell the region’s story: trout from Alpine waters, lamb from Pokljuka pastures, forest fruits and herbs from the surrounding meadows.

The elegant dining room in a 1906 Secession villa seats only a handful of guests per evening, keeping the atmosphere intimate and the service personal. The wine list championing small Slovenian cellars comes with thoughtful pairings from the sommelier. In summer, the terrace with views of the lake and the illuminated castle is the star attraction.
