Description

Lake Bled House is one of the youngest additions to Bled’s food scene: a restaurant with five rooms in the old town centre, on Grajska cesta leading up to the castle, a few minutes’ walk from the lake. The house builds on loyalty to local ingredients and respect for traditional recipes, executed with contemporary methods — and a philosophy of minimal waste, seasonality and transparent sourcing.

The day starts with breakfasts and brunch of local cheeses, homemade bread, cured meats and seasonal fruit; lunch and dinner bring beef tartare with foie gras, pasta from traditional recipes, creamy risottos, grilled dishes and a daily fresh fish, plus vegetarian options and homemade desserts. The wine list leans towards Slovenian wines with an emphasis on Brda, joined by local sparkling wine and homemade spirits.

The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 to 23:00 — from early breakfast to late dinner. As the house is new, TripAdvisor reviews are still accumulating; reservations on +386 31 708 428.
