Trail description
Planina Vogar (1,054 m) hangs on a shelf above the northern shore of Lake Bohinj — and the viewpoint ledge by the Kosi hut is where most of the lake’s famous photos are taken: the blue-green water far below, Vogel and the Bohinj mountains above. The pasture is also a gateway for tours towards Pršivec and the Triglav Lakes Valley.
The trail starts in Stara Fužina: 1–1.5 hours of steep but well-marked forest climbing (+500 m). You can extend the walk to Planina Blato along a forest road. Vogar is at its best from spring to late autumn — and Lake Bohinj below makes the perfect finish: a swim after the descent.
