The Okarina Ethno Festival is an international world-music festival that has brought musicians from every continent to Bled each summer since 1990 — from Balkan brass and flamenco to African rhythms and jazz. Concerts on the Lake Promenade stage are generally free, while selected evenings take place in the unique setting of Bled Castle.

The festival runs for roughly two weeks at the turn of July and August and pairs perfectly with an evening lakeside stroll: live music, the lake and the castle rock in the background create an atmosphere that brings visitors back year after year.
