The Bled Triathlon unites three disciplines each September in one of the world’s most beautiful natural stadiums: swimming in Lake Bled, cycling the Gorenjska roads and running along the lakeshore. The event offers distances for every level — from beginner-friendly to longer challenges — plus junior categories, so the start line mixes recreational athletes with elite competitors.

For spectators the event is free and rewarding: transition zones sit around Velika Zaka, and the lakeside path lets you follow nearly the whole course. Bled is also establishing itself on the European triathlon stage — in 2026 it hosts the Europe Triathlon Junior Cup. If you plan to race, book accommodation early; September weekends in Bled fill up fast.
