About the experience
Description
The Straža summer toboggan run is Bled’s favourite family attraction. A chairlift carries you to the top of the Straža slope right above the lake, and a stainless-steel track sends you 520 metres back down — at a speed you control yourself.
The track has enough bends and dips to delight kids and adults alike. Children under 7 ride with an adult; older kids ride solo. The chairlift ride up rewards you with one of the loveliest views of the lake, island and castle.
The run operates April to October, into the evening in summer. Buy tickets at the lower chairlift station; multi-ride packages are cheaper. Tip: come just before sunset — sliding down with the lake glowing gold below is unforgettable.
