Snowboarding Above the Clouds on Vogel

Snowboarding is best learned where skiing lives above the clouds: on Vogel, the only high-altitude ski area near Bled with natural snow all winter and a panorama over Lake Bohinj that takes your breath away even before the falls do. Lessons are taught by licensed instructors from the resort’s established schools — in English, German and Croatian too.

From the Beginner Park to Your First Runs

Your first turns happen in the magic-carpet park by the upper gondola station, where practising requires no ski pass (a gondola ticket is enough); once the basics stand — gliding, turning both ways, stopping — you move with your instructor onto the wider blue runs. A private lesson is the fastest road to independence: the instructor is all yours, and progress shows on day one.
