The Region’s Most Scenic Ski Classroom

Vogel, with its panorama above Lake Bohinj, is the region’s most beautiful skiing classroom — and the only high-altitude ski area near Bled with natural snow all winter. Two established schools operate on the mountain, Ski Finžgar and Alpinsport (both 9:00–16:00, right by the upper gondola station), with licensed instructors for skiing and snowboarding who also teach in English, German and Croatian.

Kids’ Park — No Ski Pass Needed

First turns happen in the children’s ski park with a magic carpet, which welcomes adult beginners too — a nice quirk: practising in the park requires no ski pass, just a gondola ticket from the valley. On offer are private lessons, multi-day children’s courses and group programmes; all equipment (Elan and Fischer skis, boards, helmets, sleds) rents on site.
