About the experience

Description

Just minutes from the Bled postcards hide natural crags that delight beginners and seasoned climbers alike. The favourite is Bodešče — a sunny wall above the Sava confluence with over thirty bolted routes from friendly 4a to demanding 7c, and a view stretching to Triglav.

For hot summer days, the shaded wall at Bohinjska Bela is ideal, offering pleasant cool right by the village. Ambitious climbers can test themselves on the multi-pitch routes beside the Iglica waterfall, delivering a true mountain feel a stone’s throw from the valley.

If you’re new to climbing, local agencies run guided climbing days with experienced instructors and full equipment. A wonderful activity for couples and families with teenagers looking for something beyond a lakeside stroll.
