A festival of Slovenian folk-pop music in the Festival Hall — a November treat for lovers of accordion tunes.
Every November the Slovenian Folk Music Hit Parade (Narodnozabavna Hit parada) brings the country’s best folk-pop ensembles to the Festival Hall Bled. For fans of accordion music and homegrown tunes this is a highlight of the autumn season — the lakeside hall sells out year after year, so buy tickets in advance.
November is otherwise one of Bled’s quietest seasons, which can work in your favour: hotels are cheaper, and the lake in autumn mist shows a completely different, calmer face. Combine the concert with an autumn walk around the lake and a visit to one of the local restaurants — without the summer crowds.
