Easy Vintgar Gorge
A walk on wooden boardwalks above the emerald Radovna — the most beautiful easy trail near Bled.

A full-day hike to a striking rock tooth above the Sava valley — for experienced hikers with good fitness.
Babji zob (1,128 m) is a striking rock tower on the western edge of the Jelovica plateau, guarding the entrance to the Sava Bohinjka valley. The tour from the village of Kupljenik is a proper mountain classic: twelve kilometres, a good 850 vertical metres and five hours of walking through beech forests, across mountain meadows and along a ridge with views from Triglav to the Ljubljana basin.
Most of the trail is a comfortable forest path, but the final push to the tooth itself demands some skill and confidence — sections are steep and exposed in places. The summit reward: a 360-degree view of Lake Bled far below, the Bohinj mountains and the Karavanke.
A curiosity: below the summit hides the Babji zob cave with dripstone formations, visitable with a guide. Recommended for experienced hikers from May to October; the autumn ridge colours are magnificent.
